Atos Origin s.a.e is the Spanish branch of a major international IT services company, Atos Origin plc. Atos Origin’s business is turning client vision into results through the application of consulting, systems integration and managed operations. Atos Origin is the Worldwide Information Technology Partner of the Olympic Games. This is the largest ever sports IT-related contract. The contract covered the Games in Athens 2004, Turin 2006, Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010. The contract will continue for London 2012 and now Rio 2016 games. Atos Origin integrates and manages the vast IT system that is the lifeline to relaying results, events and athlete information to spectators and media around the world.

Research Initiatives
Atos Research & Innovation, Atos Origin’s R&D&I division located in Spain, is an international hub for innovation for the entire Atos Origin group. It focuses on performing projects which incorporate the most advanced technological developments and economic exploitation of research results, with an up-to-date knowledge of European Union policies and a profound awareness of human and social issues.
As a founding member of the European Technology Platform NESSI (Networked European Software and Services Initiative), officially launched in September 2005, Atos Origin shows its commitment to cooperate on research and innovation in the strategic software, Grids, eServices and security sector for Europe.
