NS-2 Code for Grid Network Simulation

The project EC-GIN (Europe-China Grid InterWorking) is collaboration between European and Chinese in order to develop tailored network technology in dedicated support of Grid applications. One of the project’s outcomes is the NS-2 Code for Grid Network Simulators. These simulators represent the conclusion of a work package aimed at studying, modelling and replicating network traffic generated from a range of typical grid applications.
