Open Licenses compared
The following table shows a comparison of the main characteristics of the major open source licenses:
(*) Only for released modifications/new versions. Not required for private use.
Following the table supra, we should mention that GPL (the open source license that is used most extensively) is compatible with BSD, LGPL and MIT. On the contrary, it is not compatible with Apache, Eclipse and MPL.
